Kimura Hinami Lightroom presets (2 types): "Harukage" and "Natsukage"

Photographer Hinami Kimura, known for her beautiful ability to capture the light of everyday life, is releasing her second set of Lightroom presets, "Harukage" and "Natsukage." These presets focus on "everyday life and the seasons." "Harukage" creates a gentle, soft, and warm tone, capturing the feeling of spring in casual moments. "Natsukage" emphasizes the contrast between light and shadow, giving photographs a quiet presence unique to summer. Both presets carefully preserve the light, shadow, and atmosphere of everyday life while bringing out the feeling of the season.

*Each preset contains files in two formats: "dng" and "xmp".

"We have now created our second set of presets." I'm really happy that so many people used the previous presets. The first two pieces, "Bloom in Light" and "Corner of Light," were created with the image of capturing the light found in everyday life. This second installment focuses on "everyday life and the seasons." As the seasons shift from spring to summer, the colors and light of everyday life gradually change. This preset was created to subtly and naturally incorporate the feel of spring and summer amidst these changes. Rather than creating a flashy finish, the emphasis is on preserving the light, shadow, and atmosphere of the scene. -- Kimura Hinami

Preset 1 Harukage ”

*This preset uses a slightly higher exposure setting to enhance the impression of light. If the photo becomes too bright, please adjust the exposure to your liking.

"I aimed for a gentle color palette that evokes the soft spring light in which shadows still quietly blend. The soft, warm tones blend seamlessly into everyday photographs, bringing a sense of spring to even the most ordinary moments. It pairs well with photos taken in the gentle morning light or the mild afternoon sun."

Preset ② "Natsukage"

*This preset uses a slightly higher exposure setting to enhance the impression of light. If the photo becomes too bright, please adjust the exposure to your liking.

" This preset enhances the contrast between light and shadow in the strong summer sunlight. It brings out the stark contrast between light and shadow in everyday scenes and snapshots, giving even ordinary moments a quiet, summery presence. It's ideal for photos taken in the bright afternoon light or amidst the shadows cast by buildings and trees.

Photographer, born in 1996, from Hyogo Prefecture.
I discovered photography during my university years and have been immersed in it ever since. While working as a physical therapist, I continued to take everyday photos and portraits, and in August 2025, I became a freelance photographer.
