Lightroomプリセットのご利用方法について

Kotsuki Shin Lightroom Presets (2 Types)
"Ame Mint" / "Natsu Garasu"

Introducing two Lightroom presets by Kotsuki Shin, a popular photographer known for her nostalgic and dreamlike atmospheric photos. "Ame Mint" is a preset that softly depicts the humid air of cloudy skies or rain-washed streets with faint mint green and gentle contrast. It beautifully enhances the transparency of city greenery, grays, and people. "Natsu Garasu" is a preset that envelops the strong light of a sunny day with faint light blue and transparency, transforming it into a glass-like texture that captures the summer light. Both presets, designed for portraits, add a dreamlike, gentle resonance to photos while leveraging the varying expressions of light and atmosphere depending on the weather.

*Each preset includes two file formats: "dng" and "xmp."

""Natsu Garasu" and "Ame Mint" are Lightroom presets created for portraits, designed to enjoy the different expressions of light and atmosphere depending on the weather. "Natsu Garasu" wraps the dazzling light of a sunny day in a faint light blue and transparency. "Ame Mint" depicts the humidity of cloudy or rainy days with a soft mint green. While these two colors are contrasting, both gently add a slightly dreamlike resonance to photos, cherishing the expressions of people and the atmosphere of the moment. Instead of drastically changing the impression, these presets gently refine the existing light, colors, and charm of the day, making them feel like landscapes from memory. I would be happy if you use them when you want to preserve your everyday city or casual moments as slightly special summer memories. Please enjoy them as colors that suit your photos, adjusting exposure and color temperature to match your pictures and shooting environment."

Preset ① "Ame Mint"

*The examples show adjustments made after applying the preset, including basic corrections such as WB and highlights.

"This preset was created with the image of the quiet, humid air that drifts through the city on cloudy days or after rain. With faint mint green and gentle contrast, it prevents scenes with low light from becoming too dark and creates a soft, dreamlike atmosphere. It pairs well with the greens and grays found in the city, such as trees, fences, old buildings, and wet roads, and beautifully enhances white clothing or light-colored outfits. It retains a natural transparency in skin tones while adding the tranquility unique to cloudy days and a slightly nostalgic resonance. Even on bad weather days, there are colors and atmospheres that can only be found then. Please enjoy adjusting the exposure and white balance to match your photos."

Preset ② "Natsu Garasu"

The examples show adjustments made after applying the preset, including basic corrections such as WB and highlights.

"This preset envelops the strong light of a sunny day with soft light blue and transparency. It utilizes backlight, windows, and light reflected in glass or metal, softly blurring highlights to create a glass-like texture that traps the summer light. While it has a refreshing, bluish tone, it retains natural blush and warmth in skin tones to prevent them from looking too cold. It pairs particularly well with bright or reflective scenes such as white walls, rooftops, beaches, and sunlit interiors, adding a light and dreamlike atmosphere to even ordinary moments. Since the intensity of light varies depending on the photo, please micro-adjust exposure, highlights, and color temperature to match your own photos."
